A woman from Kaukauna is facing charges after attacking law enforcement in Manitowoc County.
43-year-old Lori L. White was given a $500 cash bail yesterday (July 13th) by Manitowoc County Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch.
White has been charged with Discharging Bodily Fluids at an Officer, Battery to an Officer, and OWI with Passengers Under 16 in the Vehicle.
The 43-year-old was pulled over by police over the weekend and admitted to officers that she had been drinking prior to getting behind the wheel with her three minor children in the car.
When told she would be arrested, White lashed out at authorities and is alleged to have bitten a police officer before spitting on a Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Deputy.
Eventually, she was subdued and transported to the Manitowoc County Jail.
White was also ordered to maintain absolute sobriety, and she is not to operate a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
She will return to court to make her initial appearance on July 20th at 9:30 a.m. in Branch 1.
