A road project on Manitowoc’s south side begins today (July 13th).
South 30th Street from Dewey to Viehbahn Street is scheduled for reconstruction, with funding from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.
The road will be closed to through traffic during the project. Vinton Construction will be the prime contractor.
The portion of S. 30th Street is expected to be completed by September 30th.
It’s part of the City of Manitowoc’s 2026 road construction projects that include Viebahn Street from S. 10th Street to Lakeside Blvd and Lancers Circle.
