While class may be out of session, Lakeland University is still planning to honor some past graduates this year.
The University has announced that four grads will receive awards during Homecoming in September for their work after leaving Lakeland.
These include Barbara LaMue, Stan Zoller, Lisa Stephan, and Nathan Volkomener.
LaMue, class of ’95, and Zoller, class of ’73, will be presented with the Professional Achievement Award.
Stephan, class of ’90, will be honored with the President’s Richard C. Preuhs ’65 Award.
Last, but not least, Volkomener, a 2006 graduate, will receive the Outstanding Alumni Award.
These four award recipients will be recognized, along with the newest inductees to Lakeland’s Emeritus Club, a group limited to individuals who graduated from Lakeland 50 years ago; this year’s class includes 1976 graduates.
Lakeland’s Homecoming festivities will take place on campus from September 25th through the 27th.
