Two Manitowoc Lincoln golfers are being honored by the Golf Coaches Association of Wisconsin.
Ethan Christensen and Micah Kubsch are among nearly 500 students across 167 high schools in the state to be selected as 2026 Academic All-State honorees.
To receive this honor, Christensen and Kubsch had to keep a GPA of 3.25 or higher, participate in at least 75% of their team’s varsity competitions during the 2026 season, and be in good standing regarding athletic and school codes of conduct.
The GCAW noted that this years honorees boasted a cumulative GPA of 3.79.
Ryan Krall, the group’s Academic All-State Committee Chair, congratulated all of the awardees, adding, “Have a great summer – we look forward to seeing everyone in the fairways again during the spring of 2027!”
