Another Milwaukee police officer is facing charges for allegedly misusing the department’s license plate reader technology.
Detective Tehrangi Chapman was charged this week with misconduct in public office and misuse of a GPS device, accused of using the Flock camera system roughly 20 times to track two people.
He also allegedly attached a GPS tracker to the victim’s car in 2024.
Chapman’s charges come nearly a month after Officer Josue Ayala agreed to resign from the department over similar accusations of misusing the Flock system to check a former dating partner’s license plate.
