A Madison man is pleading not guilty to attempted homicide.
Sir Spurgeon Temple appeared in Dane County court yesterday for allegedly shooting another man on the city’s northeast side on June 7th.
The victim was shot in the abdomen near Independence Lane and Dwight Drive, but survived the shooting.
It was described as a targeted shooting, as the victim and 39-year-old suspect knew each other.
Court records show Temple was bound over for trial and he’s due back in front of a judge in September.
