For the seventh week in a row, gas prices in Eastern Wisconsin dropped significantly.
Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel was reported by the AAA Gas Prices website to be $3.53 this morning, which is twelve cents lower than this time last week.
This is also a 98-cent drop off from the peak of $4.51 in the third week of May, but also $1.01 higher than the five-year low of $2.52 experienced in February.
Meanwhile, Sheboygan County reported a five-cent dip to $3.47, Claumet County’s average is down eight cents to $3.55, and Outagamie County reported a seven-cent drop to $3.52.
Brown County is tied with Manitowoc for the biggest change of the week, also coming in twelve cents lower at $3.55, while Kewaunee County is down eight cents to $3.56, and Door County’s average fell a nickel to $3.64.
The state average is down seven cents to $3.55, while the national average fell five cents to $3.79.
