Emplify Health is offering free epinephrine training to community members.
Through the “Do it for Dillon!” epinephrine training program, members of the Asthma & Allergy team at Emplify Health by Bellin will be certifying community members to recognize signs of a severe allergic reaction and administer an epinephrine auto-injector in an emergency.
This program is in Green Bay, is only 90 minutes long, and is open to anyone over the age of 12.
“Do it for Dillon!” was created by Angel and George Mueller of Mishicot, whose son Dillon died from a bee sting in 2014, and did not have an epipen available.
Angel and George have since spearheaded new legislation on the regulation of epinephrine autoinjectors and have devoted a lot of their time to conducting training sessions like this.
Upcoming dates to get this training are July 21st, July 27th, and August 14th.
