
Residents in the City of Sheboygan will have the chance to learn more about their fire department later this year.
The Sheboygan Fire Department will be holding its 2026 fall Citizens Fire Academy from September 15th through October 27th.
The academy will take place once a week on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for seven weeks.
Each year, this program aims to give local residents an inside look at what it takes for firefighters to protect our community.
Those interested in applying to participate can do so online by visiting the Sheboygan Fire Department Facebook page.

Each session will be held at SFD Station 3, located at 1326 North 25th Street.
The deadline to apply is Monday, July 27th, at 8:00 a.m.
