
There are a pair of Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (July 8th).
The Public Works Committee will be in the Public Health Building at 4:00 p.m., where they will hear comments from the public.
Then, after getting the latest on numerous capital projects, the group will discuss a Focus on Energy rebate for the retrofitting of LED lights.
Then, at 5:00 p.m., the Public Safety Committee will be in the Communication and Technology Building.
After reviewing the monthly corrections, confinement, and financial reports, and hearing comments from the public, Emergency Services Director Rhonda Green will talk about some proposed software updates for the Joint Dispatch Center.
The group will also hear from Menchalville Fire Chief Travis Nate regarding the integration of the I AM Responding emergency response system.
