
Wisconsin’s faith leaders are coming together to express trust in the election system.
The leaders from multiple religions gathered at the State Capitol yesterday as part of a National Day of Action, just days after America’s 250th birthday.
It also comes just months before November’s midterm elections and speakers spoke about the importance of democracy and voting rights.
Madison’s Rabbi Jonathan Prosnit told those in attendance Democracy is at its strongest when all votes are counted, and becomes weak when votes are suppressed.
