A Green Bay man has been arrested on a federal child porn charge.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Wisconsin, has reported that 21-year-old Ian C. Froelich has been charged with one count of Production of Child Pornography for an incident on December 31st, 2025.
Froelich allegedly forced an underage individual to engage in sexually explicit conduct, which he either took photos of or filmed.
The FBI offices in Green Bay and Atlanta, Georgia, teamed up in the investigation. which was brought forth as a part of Project Safe Childhood, which helps federal, state, and local resources to better locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the Internet, and to identify and rescue victims.
If convicted, Froelich could spend up to 30 years in prison and be forced to pay $25,000 in fines.
