Sheboygan residents will again have the chance to name trucks in the municipal fleet.
The Sheboygan Department of Public Works has announced the return of the Name That Truck Contest.
Introduced last year, the contest has been brought back this summer by popular demand. Contestants are asked to come up with a creative, original name for garbage trucks, plows, and street sweepers.
Last year’s names included Trash Gordon, Bin Diesel, Earl, the Big LePlowski, Sweeping Beauty, Gutter Hugger, and The Grim Sweeper.
A link to the submission form can be found on the Sheboygan DPW Facebook page, with submissions due no later than July 31st.
To close, the DPW stated, “Whether your suggestions are funny, creative, ironic, or even a bit zany, we want to hear them. Let your imagination run wild and give our trucks some personality!”
