The City of Plymouth has announced that the Heritage Grove subdivision and another subdivision on Pleasant View Road will break ground this summer, bringing hundreds of homes to the City.
Work on Pleasant View Road, being headed by the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC), is planned to include 102 single-family homes.
This development is part of the SCEDC Housing Initiative, with funding coming from the Forward Fund, with donations of $2 million dollars each from Johnsonville, Kohler Co., Masters Gallery Foods, Inc., and Sargento.
The Heritage Grove subdivision will be located along Highway 67, and Neumann Developments aims to build an additional 119 lots for single-family homes.
This project will be built over the next several years, however, the first phase is expected to be completed within the next year, with 43 homes believed to be available next year.
On the upcoming housing developments, the City of Plymouth Noted, “The City welcomes both Neumann and SCEDC into our community and looks forward to these new neighborhoods and the families that will eventually call them home.”
