While I-43 had both lanes open in Sheboygan County over the weekend, there are some more closures coming this week.
The Wisconsin DOT and its contractors will continue to work on various structures on both sides of the Interstate Highway, specifically between Highways 23 and 28, including milling and paving operations from County Road V to Highway 28.
The southbound on and off ramps to Highway 23 will continue to be closed as crews conduct bridge work, which is expected to last through early August, with the northbound loop ramps slated to close next week.
Also closing this week will be the on and off ramps at Highway 28. However, they will only be closed from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday (July 7th).
Single lane closures will also be put back into place as the 10-mile project enters its 5th month.
