A motorcycle crash near Whistling Straits claimed the life of a Sheboygan County man.
The Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center received a call just before 4:30 Saturday morning, reporting that a motorcycle had crashed at Lakeshore Road and County Road MM in the Town of Mosel.
The initial investigation indicated the unnamed 40-year-old man was riding his motorcycle north on Lakeshore Road when he lost control and entered the west ditch.
Lifesaving measures were administered, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional information is being released at this time, pending notification of the family.
The crash remains under investigation.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Orange Cross Ambulance, as well as the Howards Grove and Haven Fire Departments and first responders.
