A manufacturing organization is recognizing a Manitowoc business as part of America’s 250th anniversary.
The Alliance for American Manufacturing created an American State Showcase that highlights businesses in all 50 states.
For Wisconsin, they talked about Manitowoc’s All-American 1930 Pressure Canners, in homage to the history of cookware making.
All American 1930 is a division of the Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, which started back in 1912.
The alliance calls the pressure canners the “only safe way to can products like meats, beans, and vegetables.”
All American 1930 also sells cookware, including pans and Dutch ovens.
The alliance’s mission is to strengthen American manufacturing and create new private-sector jobs through different public policies.
