A proposal to consolidate some first responder services in Beloit will be brought up next week.
The Town of Beloit Board of Supervisors and Beloit City Council will hear the plan to bring together fire and emergency medical services from both communities.
Each governing body would have to sign off on the proposal in order for it to move forward.
The idea to bring together those services started in February, and an interim plan was formalized in March.
