
The City of Manitowoc is simplifying and modernizing its public records management.
The city and the Manitowoc Police Department will partner with CivicPlus for NextRequest solution, a web-based platform designed to “simplify and modernize public records management.”
It allows residents to submit public records requests and track their status to achieve “greater transparency and government accountability.”
NextRequest also makes it easier for city staff to respond to FOIA requests and enhances collaboration across departments to provide more accurate and complete records requests.
CivicPlus Vice President Eric Grant says by adopting the program, “The City of Manitowoc is taking an exciting step toward ensuring timely, compliant, and efficient management of public records requests. This partnership reflects our shared dedication to operational excellence and community engagement.”
