A Sturgeon Bay family is raising money for a man whose home was destroyed in a targeted arson attack.
Donna Franklin has been charged with Arson of a Building without the Owner’s Consent after she torched a barn on June 10th, which was attached to the victim’s home, resulting in the complete destruction of the building.
Franklin is the ex-girlfriend of the homeowner, referred to only as Bill, on a GoFundMe created by his daughter, Krista Tulloch, who said he was not living in the building at the time,
Tulloch added that he had “invested everything he owned into buying materials, tools, and rebuilding this property. In a matter of hours, all of his hard work was reduced to ashes.”
One of the items destroyed in the barn was an antique truck, which Tulloch says he “spent countless hours on and took immense pride in.”
To make matters worse, the property was completely uninsured due to Bill receiving poor professional advice.
Tulloch put it bluntly, saying, “Every single dollar he invested is gone, and he has to start back at zero entirely on his own.”
