A new coffee shop near downtown Manitowoc is getting ever closer to opening for business.
Erik Larson purchased the former Pizza Hut location at the intersection of 11th and Washington Streets after its closure in April of 2024.
He decided to bring a Ziggi’s Coffee franchise to the Clipper City, and after months of setbacks, progress on the new building, which utilized the old roof for legal purposes, kicked into high gear this spring.
Erik has confirmed with SeehaferNews.com that he and the contractors are “shooting for a completion date of the first week of August and a mid-August opening.”
The exact dates have not yet been determined, but Larson said he would give us the exact date as that time drew closer.
He called the entire process “a long road, but we are getting close.”
