Southern Wisconsin is under an Extreme Heat Warning today.
The National Weather Service issued the advisory to begin at noon and remain in place until tomorrow night.
Forecasters say heat index values will be up to 108 in some areas, including Madison, Dodgeville, Janesville, New Berlin, Mequon, and more.
Those who have to be outside are encouraged to drink plenty of water, avoid strenuous activities, and wear lightweight clothes.
