Manitowoc Library is giving teens a chance to decide whether a pet snake is the right fit for them.
Teen Summer: Snakes in the House is on June 26th at 1:00 p.m. in the Balkansky Community Room at Manitowoc Public Library.
There, teens will meet Megan from J&R Aquatic Animal Rescue, who will go over everything someone should know before acquiring a reptilian pet.
Attendees will get to meet a few reptiles and see what it would be like to have them as a pet.
Parents are welcome to come as well, if they need some convincing as to why their child should be allowed a pet snake.
