Renovations at a Manitowoc skate park are causing it to close temporarily.
Parks and Recreation Director Brock Wetenkamp says the public will not be allowed to use Miracles Park X-sports compleX skate park in the 1800 block of S. 35th Street for now as they begin Phase 3 of renovations.
The closure will remain in effect until the end of August.
Renovations include new ramps and other skate elements.
The project was funded by a grant from the West Foundation, matching funds from the City of Manitowoc, and monies from a Manitowoc Skatepark Preservation Project GoFundMe page.
