The Manitowoc County Historical Society is gearing up for a weekend of craftsmanship.
The organization’s Makers Market gets underway tomorrow (June 27th) from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday (June 28th) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Attendees get the chance to see talented makers create a range of items, from wood-stove cooking to antique machinery.
Guests will also be able to join members of the Upper Midwest Blacksmith Association at forging stations to make small iron objects on site.
The Nennig Dance Pavilion will also be transformed into the Maker’s Market’s main stage with Frogwater playing from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Students who attend the event can take home a Lowe’s Make-and-Take Kit from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day at Shadyside School.
Food will be provided by CC’s Steaks and Cakes, and a tram service will be available for those who have difficulty getting around.
It will cost $15 for adults, $13 for seniors 62 and older, $10 for youth 4-17, and children 4 and under get in for free.
