A man previously convicted of a child sex crime is set to be released from prison and will reside in Mishicot.
52-year-old Rick A. Holtz had been convicted on a charge of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault of a Child, and has served his sentence as imposed by the courts.
When he is released, he will be residing in the 16000 block of Tannery Road in Mishicot and will be required to follow the rules as established by the Department of Corrections, including being on the Sex Offender Registration Program for life.
Holtz is not wanted by police at this time, and any use of this information to threaten, intimidate, or harass him will not be tolerated.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office releases sex offender releases not to instill fear, but rather to make sure the community is as informed as possible.
