A section of road between Interstate 43 and County Road R in Francis Creek is getting redone.
County Highway V will be reconstructed starting the week of July 6th.
Contractors will remove and replace all existing asphalt, grade the roadway, pulverize it, and install new curb and gutter.
The project occurs in two stages, with the first stage having westbound traffic on County Highway V unable to access I-43 to Semi Drive.
After stage one is completed, eastbound traffic will not be allowed on the interstate or Semi Drive.
A single detour route will be set up to direct County Road V traffic around the project, using I-43, County Road K, County Road R, and Highway 310.
Access to homes and businesses will generally be maintained throughout the project, but short-term interruptions may occur in front of driveways.
