A Milwaukee woman is in custody for her role in a fatal overdose in Manitowoc County.
36-year-old Brittany A. Hart was present for a bail hearing yesterday (June 22nd), where she was given a $35,000 cash bail by Court Commissioner Luke LeFevre.
This comes as Hart faces charges of First-Degree Reckless Homicide by Delivering Drugs, and Conspiracy to Manufacture or Deliver Amphetamine and a Schedule 1 or 2 Narcotic.
These charges link back to an incident that took place in Manitowoc County in May of 2025, which left one person dead, while Hart is accused of supplying the drugs that led to their death.
Commissioner LeFevre also ordered Hart to have no contact with the family of the victim and not to possess any controlled substances.
Hart will be back inside a Manitowoc County courtroom on Monday (June 29th) to make her initial appearance in Branch 4.
