There is only one meeting today (June 22nd) in the City of Two Rivers.
The Board of Appeals will be in the Committee Room in City Hall at 11:00 this morning, where they will hold two public hearings.
The first is regarding an appeal submitted on behalf of OnPoint Mortgage, Inc, to construct a roof overhang on a garage.
The garage has an existing flat roof with structural damage, which is why the applicant would like to install a pitched roof, but it would violate Section 10-1-22 of the City Code.
The second was submitted by a property owner in the 1600 block of Jackson Street, who is seeking approval to include a deck in their north side yard, which would violate Section 10-1-15.
The applicants will be given time to explain their appeal, city staff will respond, and the public will have time to comment before a final decision is made.
