A ton of work is being done along I-43 in Sheboygan County this week.
Crews will be out conducting paving operations on the northbound off-ramp with Highway 28 today, resulting in a closure from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Crews will then begin paving the northbound off-ramp and southbound on-ramp for Highway 42 tomorrow.
Both will be closed from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The long-term single lane closures along the entire 10+ mile stretch of I-43 between Highway 42 and Wilson/Lima Road will still be in place as the DOT continues its $21 million project.
As we first reported last week, crews will begin rehab work on the Highway 23 interchange next week, resulting in the closure of the northbound interchange through early August.
Work on the southbound side will begin next week, with that closure lasting through mid-August.
