Road America will keep the summer racing season rolling next weekend with the Cheese Capital Cup.
This event, which will run June 26th through the 29th, will see the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli, International GT, and Formula Race Promotions take to the iconic track.
The Trans Am Series has been part of American motorsports since 1966. Over the years, some of the sport’s most respected names have competed under the Trans Am banner.
The weekend also includes one of the most unique fan experiences of the season. On Friday evening, June 26, Trans Am race cars will leave Road America’s Gate 6 at 5:45 p.m. for the Cheese Capital Cup Concours in downtown Plymouth.
The cars will travel under police escort and arrive at Stayer Park around 6:00 p.m. during the Plymouth Cheese Capital Festival.
