One of the oldest LGBTQ support organizations in the U.S. is holding an event at the Manitowoc Public Library next week.
The event called Exploring the Gender Spectrum: Terms, Stories, and Lived Experiences takes place on Wednesday (June 25th) from 6:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. in the Balkansky Community Room.
The Manitowoc PFLAG chapter says attendees get the chance to learn more about terminology and language, listen to personal stories, and engage with community members in a panel discussion.
The local chapter was founded in 2008 to offer support and education for members and the community.
More details about the event can be found at manitowoclibrary.org.
