A Manitowoc-based construction company has begun a new project for a Manitowoc manufacturer.
Hamann Construction recently broke ground on a 6,315-square-foot Employee Center addition to Eck Industries, located at 1602 North 8th Street.
The L-shaped project will include an employee breakroom, new locker rooms, a first aid and safety office, and a connecting corridor to the existing facility.
The new addition will feature a Ceco pre-engineered metal building structure with masonry interior walls, creating a durable and functional space for Eck employees.
Kiley Eck Hayon, the President of Eck Industries, says the Employee Center will “stand as a reminder of his over 50 years of service and leadership, as well as the values he helped shape within our organization.”
Construction is expected to be completed by year-end.
