A major I-43 interchange in Sheboygan County will be closing soon.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has announced that crews will begin working on the southbound loop ramps at Highway 23 on Monday, June 29th.
Then, the very next week, crews will also start work on the northbound side.
Each of these closures is expected to last through early to mid-August, and detours will be put in place.
This work is a part of a sprawling $21 million project, spanning the 10.4-mile stretch of I-43 between Wilson/Lima Road and Highway 42.
