A new addition to a Lutheran school in Manitowoc is coming along really well.
Immanuel Lutheran Principal David Wilson tells Seehafernews.com that while there were a couple of setbacks in March, A.C.E. Building Service has been making up that time in the past few months.
The project is about a week behind, but that’s because of simultaneous remodeling of the lower-level bathrooms and locker rooms.
Demolition of the lower level of Immanuel Lutheran School is complete, and remodeling has begun.
Regarding the addition, Principal Wilson says the building’s shell is pretty much finished.
Windows and doors will be added within the next couple of weeks, so interior work can begin.
The completion date for the new expansion is expected to be by October.
The school worked over the last four years gathering information and holding community meetings about the project before construction began.
It will cost around $3 million to complete.
