Robert (Doc) Kopidlansky, age 73, of Whitelaw passed away peacefully, with his daughter by his side, on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay. Robert was born September 14, 1952, in the town of Franklin, to the late Albert Kopidlansky, Jr. and Mary (Brefczynski) Kopidlansky. Robert was a dedicated husband father, and grandfather.
Robert graduated from Reedsville High School in 1970. He married Deborah Sy in 1975, in Collins, WI. Robert worked for Eck Industries and the Manitowoc Engineering Company until he started his own painting business, Bob’s Painting, which he operated for many years. Robert and his wife Deborah then started Pastimes Estate Sales. This business was a true passion of his and he made many friends during its 20 years of operation. He was an avid Brewers fan and more recently attended a game with his wife and grandson.
Robert is survived by his wife of 51 years, Debbie. Two sons, Jason and Christopher of Manitowoc, one daughter Amanda of Whitelaw and a very special grandson, Vincent Kopidlansky (special friend Lexi VanderBloomen) of Manitowoc. He is also survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kay (Leon) Schultz, Greenleaf and Mary Jo (John) Haese, Manitowoc. Three brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard (Janice) Kopidlansky, Georgia, Marc (Sue) Kopidlansky, Manitowoc and Bill (Traci) Kopidlansky, Manitowoc. Two sister-in-law’s Diane (Lyle) Propson, Hilbert, Julie (Rodger) Urbanek, DePere, one brother-in-law Doug (Nancy) Sy, Valders, father-in-law, Gary Sy, Valders and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Albert and Mary Kopidlansky, two brothers, David Kopidlansky and Michael Kopidlansky, and his mother-in-law, Janice Sy.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street in Manitowoc, WI. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m.
