There are a pair of Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (June 16th).
Up first is the Highway Committee, which will be in the Highway Department building at 4:00 p.m., where they will review a controlled access driveway request for a property on County Road LS.
They will also get updates on accounting, the I-43 rest area, the roof of the Manitowoc shop, and salt prices for 2026-2027 before reviewing the county and state budget.
Then, at 5:15 p.m., the Executive Committee will be in the Education Room in the Heritage Center, where they will review a proposed amendment to Section 2.04(7) of the County Code, which is related to the Land Conservation Committee.
The County Board will also meet for its official photo at 5:30 p.m. in the Board Room.
