A local publisher is looking to get more local authors’ works in the hands of readers.
Fresh Water Press in Two Rivers is hosting a book submission event, specifically for writers with a local tie to Wisconsin’s Lakeshore.
Fresh Water Press is on their 3rd year in business, and they have published 5 books in that time, with 4 more on the way.
The company says they are trying to connect with anyone who loves creating literature, and to get local work out for the world to see.
With their limited size, they only accept about 10% of books submitted to them, but they don’t put any costs on the author, and authors earn royalties based on books sold.
