A Manitowoc man is facing charges after allegedly trying to stab someone.
29-year-old Raeshon M. Dunston was in court yesterday (June 15th) for a bail hearing where Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch gave him a $1,000 cash bail.
This comes as Dunston faces charges of First-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and one count each of Felony and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
During the 29-year-old’s bail hearing, it was revealed that he had been accused of using a knife to try to stab a known victim numerous times over the weekend.
It was also revealed that at the time of the incident, Dunston was on bond for a different, yet similar case involving Substantial Battery charges with the same victim with whom he was previously ordered to have no contact.
Details regarding this latest incident remain minimal, however, Commissioner Scharenbroch did note that the probable cause statement outlined “pretty significant allegations of violence” against the victim.
Dunston will now return to Manitowoc County court next Monday (June 22nd) at 1:30 p.m. for his initial appearance in Branch 3.
