The man charged with stabbing a man at a bar on Halloween has been convicted.
48-year-old Robert Goodleston was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on a charge of Second Degree Reckless Injury, a significantly lesser charge than the Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide he initially faced.
Goodleston was arrested on October 31st, 2025 after allegedly stabbing a man at The Hammer Inn bar on State Street in Green Bay.
He reportedly told police they were lucky he hadn’t killed the victim, but also claimed self-defense.
He remains in jail on a $250,000 cash bond and is set to be sentenced on August 17th by Judge Donald R. Zuidmulder.
