A 38-year-old man is dead after drowning in Nagawicka Lake in Delafield.
First responders were called to the lake Saturday afternoon after Juan Meija disappeared beneath the water while swimming near a boat carrying five people.
Lake Country Fire and Rescue says crews from multiple agencies searched the area using seven boats and aerial drones.
Meija’s body was later recovered, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Delafield police and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources are investigating the incident.
