The Kiel Raiders are the two-seed in the Division Three field at the upcoming WIAA State Girls Soccer Tournament to be played this week at Uihlein Soccer Park in Milwaukee. The Raiders take a 23-0-1 record into their match with three-seed New Berlin Eisenhower, scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday night. Kiel qualified for their fifth straight state appearance by defeating Notre Dame Academy of Green Bay by a score of 2-0 in a WIAA Division Three Sectional Final Saturday afternoon in Green Bay. New Berlin Eisenhower qualified for state by defeating rival New Berlin West 3-2 at Whitnall on Saturday evening. The winner will meet either the top seed, McFarland, or the fourth-seed Rice Lake for the state title Saturday night (June 20th) at 7 p.m.
In Division Four, Ozaukee/ Random Lake receives a four-seed and will face top seed and defending champion Xavier of Appleton in the state semifinals Friday (June 19th) at 11 a.m. The Sheboygan County Co-op earned its ticket by defeating Oostburg 2-1 in a Sectional Final Saturday in Kohler, while the Hawks eliminated Howards Grove, defeating the Tigers by a score of 2-0 in a sectional final in Appleton. The winner will play either two-seed Prairie School or three-seed Aquinas of La Crosse for the state title Saturday (June 20th) at 1:30 p.m.
In Division One, Kimberly draws the four seed and battles top-seed Divine Savior Holy Angels of Milwaukee in a state semifinal Thursday afternoon (June 18th) at 4:30 p.m. The other Division One State semifinal is two-seed Oregon against the three-seed Muskego on Thursday (June 19th) at 7 p.m. The winners play for the D-1 state title Saturday afternoon (June 20th) at 1:30 p.m.
The Division Two bracket has the top-seed Brookfield Central tangling with the four-seed Holmen on Thursday (June 18th) at 11 a.m., while the two-seed Wauwatosa East tangles with the three-seed De Forest in the other semifinal at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. The winners meet for the D-2 state title on Saturday (June 20th) at 11 a.m.
