An upcoming event at a local animal shelter will help support hundreds of kittens in need of care this year.
The Humane Society of Sheboygan County will hold its annual Kitten Shower next Saturday (June 20th) from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at its Community Room and Shelter Campus.
The Humane Society explains that kitten season is one of the busiest and most important times of the year, and it takes support from the community to ensure the county’s most vulnerable kittens receive the care they need.
During the kitten shower, there will be a kitten registry donation drive, raffle prizes, information on foster and volunteering opportunities, adoptable kittens, and much more.
On this year’s event, the Humane Society noted, “Whether you’re interested in fostering, volunteering, donating, or simply celebrating kitten season with us, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Every donation helps give kittens the care, safety, and second chances they deserve.”
The Kitten Shower is free to attend, and anyone interested in offering their support, or maybe finding their newest furry friend is encouraged to attend.
