A runner from Two Rivers is racing in the 50th Bellin Run for a good cause.
Zach Zdziarski is a working college student who wanted to give back in a meaningful way to make a positive impact in the community.
For his run, he is also raising money for Peter’s Pantry Inc of Manitowoc.
Zdzairski explains that the need for organizations like Peters Pantry has become more visible with rising living costs and fuel prices.
Also, severe storms in May caused widespread damage, including downed trees, power outages, and food spoilage for many households.
Zach encourages anyone who feels inspired to support the pantry by donating directly on their website.
He will also be hard to miss during the Bellin Run as he will be wearing a chef’s hat and apron while running in the 10K.
More information about Zach and why he’s running is available on the Peters Pantry Inc. Facebook page.
