The Kiel baseball team has received some good news just over a week after their shocking upset loss to North Fond du Lac/Oakfield in the Regional Championship.
The EWC has released its All-Conference listings, and the 19-1 Raiders are well represented. Aaron Stephany was named Conference Player of the Year, and was joined by teammates Colton Schaefer and Caden Milbrath on the first team squad.
In fact, Stephany and Schafer made the list as pitchers and as position players.
Rounding out the first team list was Joe Shimek of Brillion, who also made the list twice, his teammates Chase Braun and Hayden Cousin, Valders’ Austin Ebert, who also earned second team honors as a pitcher, and Colton Doherty of New Holstein.
Kiel also saw Logan Guzman receive second-team honors and Brady Keinbaum be named an honorable mention.
Valders also had two honorable mentions in Jacob Olson and Carter Valeskey, while Roncalli’s Victor Anzia and Hayden Dewane made the second team roster, and Jake Hilmer was an honorable mention.
As for Two Rivers, Noah Shilcox and Kole Klein received honorable mention status.
