
Manitowoc County tourism numbers reached record highs again in 2025.
Visit Manitowoc Tourism Director Courtney Hansen explained to Seehafernews.com that the county generated $240 million last year, compared to $227 million in 2024.
Hansen says Manitowoc’s tourism industry continues to thrive and set records because of the dedicated partners that make up the destination.
She congratulated all local tourism partners, adding, “It’s because of our collective efforts, strong partnerships, and strategic marketing tactics that Manitowoc’s tourism industry continues to shine even brighter every single year.”
She also credited a “fresh, modern vision for tourism in Manitowoc” for continued record-breaking years.
Manitowoc County also had 1,746 tourism jobs and generated $14.8 million in state and local taxes.
As a state, Wisconsin hosted 117.9 million visits in 2025, including all-time highs for both days and overnight trips.
The state generated a record $27 billion in 2025 compared to 25.8 billion in 2024.
