A trial date has been set for a man facing murder charges in Sheboygan.
Court documents show that 19-year-old Onterio Girley of Milwaukee will stand trial from August 18th through August 21st as he faces one count of Felony Murder.
Girley has been accused of playing a part in the fatal shooting of teenager Joseph Torres back in January.
During the incident, an unnamed 18-year-old woman was also shot but sustained severe yet non-life-threatening injuries.
The 19-year-old’s alleged accomplice and triggerman is 18-year-old Lawrence Buford, also of Milwaukee.
For his role in the killing of Torres, Buford has been charged with First-Degree Intentional Homicide, Attempted First-Degree Intentional Homicide, Armed Robbery with Use of Force, and being a Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
At this time, no trial date has been set for Buford. Before Girley stands trial, he will return to court on August 3rd for his final pre-trial conference.
