A Milwaukee County OB-GYN is accused of artificially inseminating ten women with his sperm without consent.
Attorney Al Foeckler told reporters yesterday Dr. Frederick Dettman “secretly impregnated” his client, Mary Ellen Lukezich, without her knowledge.
Lukezich consented to Dettman using the sperm of an anonymous donor back in 1980, and gave birth to a son three years later.
Foeckler said her son did genealogy testing and found he had nine half-brothers, and traced it back to Dettman.
The family is expected to file a civil suit sometime this summer.
