A Franklin kidnapping suspect’s bond is being increased to $2 million.
The judge in the case of Angelo Liberto upped the number after Liberto allegedly told his cellmate he wanted to hurt the victim further.
A Milwaukee County prosecutor explained the cellmate told attorneys Liberto confessed to the crime, adding Liberto’s father was going to pay his original $200,000.
Liberto is accused of kidnapping a woman and trying to sexually assault her last month.
Prosecutors say the motive for Liberto’s actions is that the victim only wanted to be friends with him.
