
Four local students have received scholarships through the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office.
Roncalli graduate Dominic Thiele and Grace Krueger of Brillion each received $500 scholarships from the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Department Association.
Thiele plans to attend St. Norbert College this fall to pursue a degree in sports medicine, while Krueger will travel across the state to UW River Falls to pursue a career in pre‑veterinary medicine.
Additionally, the $500 Nick Jost Memorial Scholarship was presented to Manitowoc Lincoln’s Payge Dewane by Girard and Debra Jost.
The Lincoln grad will be attending UW-Platteville to study forensic investigation.
Lastly, Kiel High School graduate Danika Neuhaus was awarded the Edward J. Shimanek Memorial Scholarship by the Manitowoc County Deputy Sheriffs & Constables Association.
This $500 scholarship will help Neuhaus as she studies conservation law at UW Stevens Point.
